WE ARE RECRUITING FOR SEVERAL PERMANENT FULL-TIME PAID POSITIONS!

Are you ready to serve in an elite team responsible for safeguarding one of Africa's most iconic protected areas? TTable Mountain National Park's SEAM Unit is seeking highly motivated, disciplined, and committed individuals ready for a career with purpose.

The Challenge: Work in Table Mountain National Park's rugged sea, air, and mountain terrain.

What to Expect:

  • 2-day Intensive Physical Preselection: If shortlisted, you are responsible for your own transport, food, and accommodation. No fees are required to apply.
  • Selection Process: If you Pass the physical Pre-selection, you will earn your place in a rigorous 2-week selection process incorporating competitive and challenging physical, psychological and character evaluations. Training will be provided to those who pass Selection.

Male Female
Run 10km in under 1 hour  Run 10km in under 1.2 hours
35 Continuous Push-ups  25 Continuous Modified Push-ups (knees on ground)
50 Continuous Sit-ups  35 Continuous Sit-ups
75 Continuous Leg extensions  50 Continuous Leg extensions
  • Candidates who prepare have a higher chance of success.

OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 Pass – National Senior Certificate / Matric / NCV 4
  • Minimum Age of 18
  • Valid South African ID Book/Card
  • You need to have a Clear criminal record (this will be verified with SAPS)
  • All documents and qualifications will be verified through background checks
  • Medical, Drug and alcohol screening will be conducted

  1. Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be accepted . All physical fitness standards will be tested on arrival, and all documentation will be verified. DO NOT APPLY if you do not meet the requirements or possess the necessary documentation.
  2. This recruitment process is open to the general public. Applicants residing in the Western Cape will be considered first.
